FIS Trading and Assets Services business provides mission-critical software and services to institutions in virtually every segment of the asset management industry worldwide. Within the Capital Markets division, our team members located across the globe, focus on supporting industry participants across the liquidity spectrum who are invested in private equity, hedge funds and traditional assets. Our solutions address the processing requirements of a broad range of users with our core accounting, transfer agency, reconciliation, workflow processing and a range of data services in the back office as well as portfolio support, data analytics and digital channel solutions in the front office.

As part of Trading and Asset Services, our Data Services product line offers data collection, data validation and distribution capabilities and services to facilitate end to end automation around processing corporate actions, pricing, and reconciliations to mitigate risk, provide transparency and control, improve operational efficiency, and increase return on investment for our customers and stakeholders.

What you will be doing:

You will be working with technical experts from multiple teams worldwide and the local development team in Belgrade to define the data output of the FIS Corporate Actions Suite 6 platform and other platforms within the Data Services product line. You will be liaising with product management and solutions teams of multiple lines of business and product lines to align their requirements and ensure that the data meets client’s needs. Your responsibilities will be:

· Developing in-depth understanding of underlying data, data structures, and business uses of data

· Creating dashboards and reports that meet customer needs.

· Partnering with various business teams to gather, document, and maintain business requirements that inform data modeling decisions.

· Compiling data from multiple sources into a single, consumable dataset, including the design and implementation of data models.

· Proposing new dashboards and reports and refining solutions iteratively.

· Collaborating with businesses and data SMEs to profile source system data and perform logical mapping of source data to the target data model, based on business requirements.

· Understanding product strategy, market, industry, and client goals to ensure alignment with business objectives.

· Participating in Agile software development process

What you bring:

· Deep understanding and 5+ years of experience in data analysis/business intelligence/data mining or data science

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science / engineering / statistics

· Knowledge of Data Lakes

· Experience with modern data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI

· Knowledge of APIs

· Knowledge of relational database technologies (SQL) and document-based databases (MongoDB, CosmosDB)

· Ability to utilize judgment in decision making process and decisions related to job tasks

· Effective presentation and interpersonal skills

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization (e.g., executive, management, individual contributors)

· Excellent communication skills in Englis

Added bonus if you have:

· Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI

· Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes to ensure efficient data integration and management.

· Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

· Familiarity with AI and machine learning.

· Previous experience with databases and data visualization tools.

· Knowledge of Financial services industry

· Knowledge of FIS products and services or similar Fintech solutions
