Senior Data Analyst with expertise in Financial Data Quality Area | SEB, Vilnius

About the role:You will play a key role in the Loan and Transaction Data Quality unit, taking ownership of the overall data quality process to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information for stakeholders in Finance and Risk. Your responsibilities will include defining and driving data quality initiatives, overseeing monitoring routines, leading root cause analysis, and fostering collaboration across teams. You will also manage stakeholder expectations, provide valuable insights to address finance business challenges, and proactively identify opportunities to enhance data quality and operational efficiency.

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for:

• Monitor data quality deliveries, track KPIs, and escalate issues as needed
• Extract, analyse, and interpret data to create reports, dashboards, and actionable insights for stakeholders
• Lead and support team members in data quality monitoring, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage stakeholder relationships, set expectations, and align priorities with business needs
• Organize and moderate meetings to drive collaboration, ensure alignment, and enhance decision-making
• Participate in key projects, initiatives, and testing activities to enhance data quality processes and tools
• Take ownership of the overall data quality process, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial information

To thrive in this role, we believe you have:

• Academic degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Mathematics
• 3-5 years of experience working with data analysis or finance related area
• Great communication and perfect knowledge of English – written and spoken
• Proficient skills of MS Excel
• Analytical skills and knowledge to handle complex information flows
• Ability to manage your time and prioritize
• Flexibility and willingness to take ownership  
• Ability to query and manipulate database (SQL) and work with visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) (would be considered as an advantage)
