As part of this transformation, we are seeking a skilled Data Architect to play a pivotal role in analysing and re-architecting our data landscape, driving data management, storage, and analytics initiatives, and refining our data governance framework that aligns with our strategic goals. 

Job Description

Your Day Will Involve:

• Reviewing Abano Healthcare’s current and target data landscape, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
• Contributing to the establishment of an Enterprise Data Strategy that fosters data innovation and operational efficiency.
• Shaping and defining Abano Healthcare’s Data Governance practice, establishing frameworks that ensure data integrity and compliance.
• Providing expert consultancy and support to program initiatives and Data/Analytics teams on data architecture, strategy, and best practices.
• Ensuring alignment of data architecture with roadmaps and principles established.
• Designing end-to-end solutions from source systems to reporting and analytics interfaces.
• Creating design patterns for various categories of reporting and analytical requirements to support business insights.
• Developing ETL and Master Data Management strategies focused on automation and reusability to optimize processes.
• Presenting solution options and guiding them through the governance process.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Data or Data Solution Architecture roles.
• Proven experience in data modeling 
• Expertise in both traditional data warehouse technologies and modern cloud-based platforms 
• Working knowledge of Micrsoft Fabric, Microsoft SQL, Wherescape Red
• Strong understanding of data governance best practices and supporting technologies.
• Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, from business to technical, and translate requirements into data solutions.
• Ability to develop and present Architecture Design documents through project processes and to executive-level stakeholders
