Vestiaire Collective is looking for a Data Engineer Intern to join our AI Foundation Team.
About the Role đŸ–„ïžYou’ll be joining a dynamic and growing AI Foundation team on a mission to:“Empower data scientists, engineers, and business teams to adopt ML and GenAI effectively, safely, and at scale.” As a Data Engineer Intern, you’ll work closely with a Senior Data Engineer and a group of passionate data scientists committed to mentoring and supporting your growth.
This internship offers a unique opportunity to dive into GenAI and MLOps while contributing to real-world solutions. You’ll help improve our internal productivity tools powered by LLMs and take part in maintaining and enhancing our ML Platform, making it easier for data scientists across Vestiaire Collective to build better models, faster.Beyond the code, your ideas will count: you'll be encouraged to contribute to roadmap and strategy discussions.
What You Will Do 👜Gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies (LLMs, Vector Search, Kubernetes, Airflow, Docker etc.)Work directly with data engineers and data scientists on impactful projects, including Vaichat, our internal AI assistantHelp develop innovative GenAI features and data pipelines for our chatbotExplore and evaluate new LLM tools and frameworks to shape our next stepsAssist in designing and maintaining MLOps workflows and tools to support best practices in Data ScienceLearn and work with modern cloud services and open-source tools (AWS, Snowflake, OpenSearch, MLFlow, LLMs
 and anything else you’re excited to try!)
Who You Are ⭐You’re currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related fieldYou are fluent in English (French is a plus)You have programming skills (Python preferred) and understand the basics of software developmentYou’re curious, solution-oriented, and a great communicatorYou’re excited about data engineering, GenAI, and cloud computingBonus points if you’ve played with tools like Docker, MLFlow, Airflow, AWS/GCP, LLMs, or CI/CD pipelines.What we offer 🎁
