We are looking for a Quality Control Chemist - Digital Solutions (Chemist I) to join our Agricultural Solutions team based in Palmyra, MO.

As a Quality Control Chemist - Digital Solutions, you will maintain the lab network and data storage system while taking a leading role in digitalization projects. You will provide in-line analytics support from a quality perspective and support continuous lab operations to help the manufacturing unit achieve its production goals.

As a Quality Control Chemist - Digital Solutions, you create chemistry by...

• Leading digitalization and connectivity projects for the laboratory.
• Assisting with password resets, access rights, ensuring data is backed up, improving document storage, implementing digital tablets, and updating and maintaining data analysis tools.
• Collaborating with the Regional Quality Systems & Technology Manager to implement new technologies identified for the QC/QA lab and representing Hannibal labs in cross-functional teams related to quality systems and technology implementation.
• Providing in-line analytics support from a quality perspective, offering quality guidance for the installation of new and existing analyzers, validating primary and in-line methods, and establishing and maintaining a system for routine checks against the primary method of analysis.
• Supporting routine QC testing, troubleshooting, data review, record management, continuous improvement, audits, quality documentation maintenance, management of change, and document control.

If you...

• Hold a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Chemistry, Engineering Technology, or a related field with a focus on digitalization.
• Have a minimum of 3 years of experience working in technology, operations, or quality-related roles with a bachelor’s degree; 1 year of experience with a master’s degree; no experience is required with a PhD.
• Possess working knowledge of Quality Systems (such as LIMS, SAP, Power BI, etc.) and digital applications used in a laboratory. Python programming language, a plus.
• Demonstrate applicable knowledge of laboratory analytical testing techniques and in-line analyzers.
• Have experience working in a manufacturing setting (preferred).
