Digital Twin Architect – Industrial AI & Simulation

This role is pivotal in ensuring real-time data integration, simulation accuracy, and AI-driven automation across large-scale operations.
- Design and develop scalable, high-fidelity Digital Twin models for mining, oil & gas, and ports.
- Ensure real-time sensor fusion and AI-driven predictive analytics integration.
- Work closely with AI, cloud, and industrial teams to create data pipelines for real-time operational insights.
- Optimize 3D visualization, simulation, and virtual commissioning of industrial assets.
- Experience with Unreal Engine, Unity, Siemens NX, AnyLogic, or Dassault Systemes is a plus.
- Define cloud and edge architectures for real-time asset monitoring and AI-driven automation.
- Collaborate with AI engineers, data scientists, and industrial automation teams to optimize Digital Twin functionalities.
- Establish data pipelines to process real-time sensor data and historical operational data.
- Develop APIs and microservices to expose Digital Twin capabilities for industrial applications.
- Ensure scalability, cybersecurity, and compliance with industrial standards (IEC 62443, ISO 9001, IEC 61508).
- Drive R&D initiatives, keeping CDM at the forefront of Digital Twin innovation.
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, AI, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Digital Twin development, industrial automation, or AI-driven simulations.
- Proficiency in real-time simulation frameworks, 3D modeling, and sensor fusion technologies.
- Strong knowledge of IoT, industrial protocols (MQTT, OPC-UA, Modbus, TSN), and edge computing.
- Experience with high-performance data pipelines (Kafka, Apache Flink, Snowflake, TimescaleDB).
- Familiarity with AI model integration into Digital Twin environments (computer vision, predictive analytics, reinforcement learning).
- Hands-on expertise in cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices development.
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or Rust for simulation and automation.
- Experience working with real-world industrial applications, including mining, oil & gas, or smart ports.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of mining OEM dispatch systems and backend interfaces is a substantial plus.
- Experience in autonomous systems, robotics, or cyber-physical systems.
- Knowledge of GIS mapping, geospatial data processing, and 4D simulations.
- Familiarity with government-funded R&D projects, innovation grants, and academic-industry collaborations.
- Strategic thinking with a problem-solving mindset for large-scale industrial challenges.
- Ability to collaborate across engineering, operations, and research teams.
- Strong communication skills to bridge technical concepts with industrial applications.
- Passion for industrial AI, automation, and next-gen Digital Twin technology.
