Finance Business Partner Intern - Singapore - 2025 Start

Responsibilities

About the Team:
The Global Payments Team is a key part of ByteDance, driving digital payments and financial services. The finance business partner team acts as a strategic partner, managing risks and offering insights to support the long-term growth of the business. You will be involved in (i) conducting in-depth financial analysis to identify key issues, support decision-making, and enhance operational efficiency, (ii) providing continuous financial support and guidance to business operations, ensuring strong service and alignment; and (iii) analyzing financial reports from other companies, not just interpreting the numbers but also understanding the underlying metrics to inform and drive business strategies.

Project Intern:
As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain and analyze billing data for specific payment channels, including statistical reporting.
- Compile and analyze data related to the fintech business.
- Support product pricing efforts by gathering and analyzing industry-related information.
- Collect and analyze financial reports from publicly listed companies across various markets as requested.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
1. Undergraduate, or Postgraduate who is currently pursuing a degree/ Masters' in finance, accounting, statistics, economics or a related technical discipline.
2. Strong analytical abilities, with proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
3. Detail-oriented, highly focused, and responsible.
4. Skilled in data processing and proficient with data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Strong professional ethics, clear logical thinking, and a proactive work attitude.
2. Knowledge of Python and SQL is a plus.
3. Preference for long-term interns who could commit for more than 3 months' internship to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
4. Experience in project analysis or internships with the Big Four, investment banks, or fast-paced tech companies is highly desirable.
