Engineering Manager, Google TV Data

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  
• 3 years of experience working in an organization.

Responsibilities

• Work on design and implementation of the data infrastructure to support TV analytics, experimentation and Machine Learning data needs.
• Work with partner teams across Google like Android Metrics, Play Analytics, Assistant/Gemini analytics, Home teams. Impact will be across the TV and partner organizations.
• Collaborate with and support TV teams, share on-call work for the wider TV team.
• Work on data compliance needs and work on latest regulations.
• Work and guide SWEs on server technologies including Java/C++ (using Google technologies like Boq, Spanner, Footprints) on an as-needed basis.
