Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst & Industry Researcher to join our team and contribute to our growth. This position requires advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, coupled with a strong research background in either the gardening tools industry or the insurance industry. The ideal candidate will be able to translate complex data into actionable insights and provide valuable market intelligence.
Responsibilities:
Data Modeling & Analysis:

- Develop and maintain sophisticated data models using advanced Excel and Google Sheets formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS, Array Formulas, Pivot Tables, Google Apps Script).
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Create and automate data reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated data models using advanced Excel and Google Sheets formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS, Array Formulas, Pivot Tables, Google Apps Script).
Industry Research:

- Conduct comprehensive market research within the gardening tools or insurance industry.
- Analyze industry trends, competitive landscapes, and market opportunities.
- Gather and synthesize data from various sources, including industry reports, market analyses, and online databases.
- Provide detailed reports and presentations summarizing research findings.
- Stay up to date on industry innovations and technologies.
- Conduct comprehensive market research within the gardening tools or insurance industry.
Collaboration & Communication:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making.
- Communicate complex data findings clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders.
- Present research findings and recommendations to management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Business, Economics, Statistics).
- Proven experience in data analysis and modeling.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, including complex formulas and data manipulation techniques.
- Strong research experience in either the gardening tools industry or the insurance industry.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

with data visualization tools is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SQL or other database languages.
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts.
- Experience with scripting languages such as python.
