Apprentice Data Analyst 

Location: Grangemouth

Bilfinger UK are currently looking for an Apprentice Data Analyst to join our team. 

 

As a data analyst apprentice you will be responsible for analysing, reviewing and understanding data across the HSE, scheduling, procurement, commercial and supervision departments to monitor and review our performance on the contract, liaising with the relevant people to help deliver improvements where necessary to provide insights that drive business decisions

 

Examples of tasks may include:

  • Entering safety observation cards onto the BUK and the clients HSE systems, reviewing the data to identify trends / areas of concern.
  • Monitoring the weekly schedule to check the accuracy against actual works executed in the period.
  • Reviewing performance and productivity for each department (scaffolding, insulation, painting), to ensure scope changes, delays, etc. are being highlighted by the relevant supervisors, and identifying contract norms that may require review.
  • Maintenance of the site scaffold register, working with the client and scaffolding superintendent to reduce the volume of scaffolds erected across the site.
  • Tracking and reporting blue collar employee numbers against the clients resource forecast, including absences.

 

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: GCSEs (or equivalent) in Mathematics, English, and Science
