Business Data Analyst (Swap Dealer Regulation)

• Evaluate and analyze business processes for compliance with swap dealer regulations
• Gather, document, and clarify business requirements from stakeholders regarding swap regulations
• Utilize SQL to perform data analysis, ensuring data quality and integrity for regulatory reporting
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for the development team
• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure regulations are correctly interpreted and implemented
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including requirements traceability matrices and process flow diagrams
• Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist in the development of test plans and test cases
• Monitor regulatory changes and advise on potential impacts to business processes

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within a financial services environment, with a focus on swap dealer regulations
• Strong knowledge of Swap Dealer regulations, including Dodd-Frank Act requirements
• Experience with regulatory reporting processes and frameworks related to swaps
• Proficient in SQL for data analysis to support compliance and regulatory reporting
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to synthesize complex data sets
• Experience in project management methodologies and tools
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred
• Regulatory compliance certifications (e.g., FRM, CFA) are a plus
