JOB TITLE: Lead System Engineering

REMOTE TYPE: Office Worker

JOB LOCATION: 3400 W Plano Pkwy., Plano, TX 75075 [hybrid position]

Lead System Engineering needed by AT&T Services, Inc. in Plano, Texas [hybrid position] to translate core architecture for business requirements into final technical solutions consisting of platform, network, software, and cloud solutions. Translate core architecture for business requirements into final technical solutions through functional performance and reliability analyses using engineering models and techniques. Align development teams to a shared technical direction and partner with teams to elaborate on solutions and their interfaces. Validate technology assumptions and evaluate implementation alternatives. Create and enable continuous delivery pipelines. Assemble large complex sets of data that meet non-functional and functional business requirements. Identify, design and implement internal process improvements including re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, optimizing data delivery, and automating manual processes. Build required infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various data sources using Azure and SQL technologies. Build analytical tools to utilize the data pipeline providing actionable insight into key business performance metrics including operational efficiency and customer acquisition. Work with stakeholders including data, design, product, and executive teams and assisting them with data related technical issues. Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, and Delivery teams to support their data infrastructure needs while assisting with data-related technical issues. Utilize Azure Cloud. Leverage PowerBI. Work in custom ETL design, implementation, and maintenance. Work with schema design and dimensional data modeling. Utilize machine learning and automation. Utilize Python, SCALA, SPARK, and .NET; Utilize SQL programming. Apply knowledge of IT concepts, strategies, and methodologies. Apply understanding of agile data engineering concepts and processes.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, or Electrical Engineering, and 5 years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience in the job offered, or 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation utilizing Azure Cloud; leveraging PowerBI; working in custom ETL design, implementation, and maintenance; working with schema design and dimensional data modeling; utilizing machine learning and automation; utilizing Python, SCALA, SPARK, and .NET; utilizing SQL programming; applying knowledge of IT concepts, strategies, and methodologies; and applying understanding of agile data engineering concepts and processes.
