Job Description

THE ROLE: Senior Analyst, Content Avails & Data Operations (Temporary)

The Senior Analyst, Content Avails & Data Operations will oversee the development and execution of automated workflows to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of metadata across various platforms. This role involves implementing advanced systems to automatically capture and populate metadata from diverse sources, driving efficiency and reducing manual effort. The ideal candidate will lead the creation and execution of a metadata enrichment roadmap, focusing on enhancing data quality and ensuring metadata is accessible and actionable across the organization.

A key part of this role will be to optimize processes and leverage technology for scalable, automated solutions in metadata.

 MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU’LL DO: 

  • Support change management initiatives within the metadata operations team, focusing on automation and streamlining workflows to enhance data accuracy and efficiency.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail while overseeing the implementation of automated systems to capture, enrich, and maintain metadata across multiple platforms.
  • Work closely with the business and tech teams to gather and define avails and metadata requirements.
  • Ensure alignment with upcoming avails and plan metadata feature enhancements.
  • Contribute to the improvement of the quality, stability, and efficiency of metadata operations within the supply chain.
  • Play a supportive role in embedding our company’s cultural values, while fostering a collaborative environment, and driving continuous improvements in metadata processes to support our broader strategic objectives.
  • Identify and escalate metadata issues as they rise, applying industry knowledge to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Contribute to company-wide metadata governance initiatives and identify opportunities for improving metadata structures to enhance distribution efforts.
  • Analyze regular reports on the performance of metadata and the quality of materials, while offering actionable recommendations for optimization and improvement.
  • Maintain an appropriate remote workspace that allows for maximum attention and concentration on required content, along with a robust internet connection capable of downloading large files at fast speeds.  
  • Analyze avails schedule cadence with partners, providing accurate and on-time availing. 
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Technology teams to ensure alignment and execution of partnership initiatives.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA or BS in Media, Communications or related field is preferred. 
  • 5-7 years of experience Metadata operations or equivalent professional experience
  • A strong background in avails and optimizing metadata across various platforms, with expertise in metadata standards, structure, and taxonomy.
  • Familiarity with TVOD, AVOD, SVOD, and FAST business models
  • Experience with automated workflows and systems to capture, enrich, and maintain metadata at scale.
  • Knowledgeable in avails formats and standards, and platform specific nuances with avail SLAs and best practices

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency in metadata across diverse systems and platforms.
  • Ability to identify issues proactively, troubleshoot metadata challenges, and suggest practical, innovative solutions. 
  • Drive accountability and results cross departmentally, aligning all teams on the path towards data excellency
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Please note project assignment associates are engaged to provide service to A+E Networks on a temporary basis in connection with a specific project. Project assignment associates are hired and employed through a third-party vendor with a duration/tenure of no longer than eighteen (18) months.

CompensationContract Hourly Pay Rate: $46.37
