Senior Power BI Developer

NN Digital Hub is looking for an ambitious Power BI developer with administrator skills, to support our extensive financial data reporting environment based on Power BI. You will be responsible for driving defined Power BI dashboards, data visualization reports, and data models. As the Power BI developer, you will collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, develop powerful data visualization/dashboards, and support Power BI dashboard training as needed.

What you will work on

• Your main responsibility will be te design and implementation of financial reports/dashboards associated with a wide variety of data sets used for data/text mining, analysis, modeling, and predicting to enable informed business decisions. Your key tool for this is Power BI.

• You will work with stakeholders to identify trends, aggregate data and build visually appealing reports in Power BI.

• It is also necessary to collaborate across departments and with stakeholders to define requirements and develop business solutions.

• You will create solutions from initial concept to fully tested production, and demonstrates results to a broad range of stakeholders.

• You need to be able to extracts and compile various sources of information and large data sets from various systems to identify and analyze outliers.

• You will build SQL ETL routines to prepare data for reporting.

• You are an enthusiastic Power BI developer who is passionate about financial data, numbers in general and reporting tools.

• You are a sparring partner for the Product Owner and contribute to the roadmap and sprint planning by defining and estimating user stories.

• You report on progress and impediments on a daily basis to the team and support further development of the Agile way of working of the team.

• Your English language skills are good, both verbal and in writing.

• The colleagues in your team, as well as many other colleagues outside of your team, work at the office and from home, and are located in many different countries. You are happy to come to the office when this is useful for interaction with colleagues, but are also comfortable with working from home.

What is the hiring process with us like

We would like to meet you twice in total. The first round will ideally be a face-to-face meeting in our office in Prague with Thijs (App Development and Operations Manager) and Petra (Talent Acquisition Partner). The second round has to be online, as you will meet one of our PowerBI colleagues together with their Product Owner, who are based in the Netherlands.
