BASIC ACCOUNTABILITY

The Supply Chain Data Analyst position is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting multiple data sets for team members across the department.  Under general supervision, this role requires a strong understanding of data analytics and the ability to communicate insights to team members in a clear and concise manner.  Work will be done collaboratively with the Technology department and other internal stakeholders.  Additionally, this role may have the opportunity to assist with multifaceted tasks relating to the management of drilling, completions, facilities, and operations categories.

 

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Supply Chain Management or other related Technology field preferred

 

EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 3 years of related data analyst experience. 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create, manage, and improve dashboards, reports, & low-code applications with a focus on user experience, documentation, and sustainment 
  • Analyze large and complex data sets using SQL and other data analysis tools 
  • Implement automated solutions to streamline manual team processes
  • Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and design solutions to drive informed decision-making and improve key processes
  • Work closely with enterprise reporting and analytics team to ensure best practices and standards are followed 
  • Work with enterprise data management and data engineering professionals to address new dataset needs 
  • Perform Supply Chain work when needed, including but not limited to, developing and executing a comprehensive category strategy, sourcing events, supplier qualification and contract compliance

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience working with SQL & Python
  • Experience building dashboards and visualizations with PowerBI & Spotfire
  • Experience designing applications and workflows in Power Platform
  • Familiarity with modern cloud data architecture & tools
  • Passion around creating and sharing data solutions, as well as enthusiasm to help others develop data driven decisions 
  • Ability to gather and understand business requirements and design sustainable solutions
  • Ability to effectively communicate with data through visualizations, reports, and presentations 
  • Ability to build trust and foster strong working relationships across various data consumers
  • Develop understanding of Supply Chain and company strategies, particularly with third party suppliers
  • Seek ways to further streamline information flow or data usage in support of company goals
  • Experience with oil and gas industry is a plus
