Manager, Product Management - Customer Services & Strategy (US Card)

About the Team
The US Card Customer Services & Strategy team has several openings within the Fraud, Correspondence Platform and Case Automation Platform spaces:

  • Fraud Product- This PM role will be dedicated to our payment fraud decision engine (backfill). We are looking for a candidate who has a strong interest in data and supporting our data science team in building some of our most valuable ML models at Capital One. Someone who can influence and partner with a platform team to ensure our fraud needs are met during the modernization journey will excel in this role!

  • Correspondence Platform- This PM will lead the strategy and execution for the Delivery Module on platform version 2.0. They will be accountable for shaping the strategic direction and capabilities of the 2.0 Delivery Module. This requires formulating a clear roadmap that facilitates a streamlined, efficient, and optimized data exchange via APIs between our platform and our network of Correspondence Suppliers.

  • Case Automation Platform- This PM will lead a tech team in the development and management of the platform case management data. The scope includes day to day responsibilities associated with being a product manager of a tech team (e.g. discovery, intent refinement, delivery of intent in the highest quality) as well as strategic involvement in how we grow and maintain the data ecosystem for a business critical platform.

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience working in Product Management

  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date: 

    • A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)

    • A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA: $158,400 - $180,800 for Manager, Product Management


 

New York, NY: $172,800 - $197,200 for Manager, Product Management


 

Richmond, VA: $144,000 - $164,400 for Manager, Product Management


 


 


 


 


 


 


 


 

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
