As part of the role, you will:

• Be part of the leadership team to deliver the future, intelligent digital workspace to drive efficiency, productivity and optimal value for every internal user at Capital One.

• Lead a team whose goal is to connect users across the digital workspace at Capital One with simple to use, delightfully enriched AI experiences that will maximize productivity for the entire workforce.

• Collaborate with tech, design and data science to scale and productionize AI and GenAI capabilities across the Enterprise

• Partner with researchers, tech and science teams to bring cutting-edge Generative AI capabilities to Capital One

• Evaluate, test, and develop proof-of-concepts for AI Safety technologies including Guardrails, Content Moderation, Cyber Security and Data Loss prevention

• Develop short- and long-term strategies for our products and research areas 

• Lead teams of product managers to drive exploration and development of new products

• Deeply understand customer needs, translating them into a long term strategy for impactful, secure solutions to help enhance productivity across the Capital One 

• Drive the business and technology roadmaps while ensuring alignment to the overall organizational strategy, risk and security policies, principles, patterns and standards.

Basic Qualifications:

• At least 7 years of experience working in Product Management

• Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date: 

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)

  • A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products

• Experience with Generative AI technologies including Large Language Models (LLMs), Transformers, Retrieval Augmented Generation, LangChain, Guardrails, Agentic Workflows

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Chicago, IL: $205,400 - $234,400 for Director, Product Management

 

McLean, VA: $226,000 - $257,900 for Director, Product Management

 

New York, NY: $246,500 - $281,300 for Director, Product Management

 

Richmond, VA: $205,400 - $234,400 for Director, Product Management

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
