Position Summary:

Reporting to the Senior Director of Data Science, we are looking for a Team Lead or Manager, Data Analytics to join Trulioo’s Data Science team. This individual will be responsible for supporting all customer-facing teams with world-class analytics and professional services for customers and prospective customers evaluating Trulioo's services. This includes providing leadership to a team of analysts, defining and implementing streamlined systems and project management processes, maintaining a standard of excellence in analytical deliverables, and working closely with customers and customer-facing teams. We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit who enjoys collaborating with stakeholders and customers as much as crunching the numbers!

What you will be doing:

• Provide leadership on data study projects used to evaluate customer performance, apply critical thinking to assess options, and make outcome-based recommendations
• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success departments to scope customer project opportunities, understand needs and define a mutual project plan
• Tell powerful stories from extracted and analyzed data in concise but impactful reports/presentations
• Help the team to break down roadblocks and determine creative solutions for unique problems under tight revenue-impacting deadlines
• Report on KPIs and provide visibility into ongoing customer trial opportunities to senior leadership across Trulioo
• Contribute to the improvement and automation of operational and analytic processes to help the team scale efficiently
• Coach, train and mentor a team of analysts
• Act as an escalation point for team members and stakeholders
• Help distill knowledge and best practices to direct reports 

You have:

• 2-4+ years of previous experience managing a team of direct reports
• Strong business, operational, and technical aptitude with a proven ability to quickly learn new technologies
• Strong problem-solving ability and are able to logically analyze, identify root causes, and provide effective solutions with a high level of detail
• Ability to manage a project-based team utilizing tools such as JIRA
• Strong analytics experience
• Create and present reports to stakeholders/leadership teams and provide actionable insights, and build interactive dashboards 
• Experience with KPI tracking and reporting 
• Experience with SQL (a must), excel, one or more BI tools such as Tableau, PowerBI etc., Python (possibly), ETL/ELT tools 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills - ability to collaborate across departments
• Ability to work in a customer-oriented, fast-paced, dynamic environment

Bonus if you have: 

• Experience working with a scripting language such as Python or R in a combination of professional and/or self-taught environment
• Experience in a B2B or SaaS product environment in a customer-facing position
  
  

* The final title for this position will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications, with the title of Team Lead or Manager assigned accordingly.

Please view the base salary range for this role below. The range listed is our expected compensation for the role. However, the pay offered may vary depending on a variety of factors including qualifications, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

Annual Salary$100,000—$140,000 CAD
