The Position:
FanDuel Sports Network is seeking a Data Analyst to join our team to help drive company performance through data-driven insights.  Reporting to the VP, Business and Subscription Analytics, responsibilities for this role include coding in SQL, leveraging data engineering best practices and building self-serve PowerBI dashboards for both internal and external users to better understand subscriber, viewer and fan experiences across various sports.  This role will enable the company and its partners to make more informed decisions quicker and more efficiently.  The ideal candidate for this role has a startup mentality, strong analytical mindset, self-organizing individual, expertise in SQL and PowerBI, ability to convert requirements into actionable insights and work cross-functionally. 

This is an in-office role located in Southport, CT. 

The Game Plan:

(What you will do)

• Write efficient SQL queries to extract and analyze large datasets in Microsoft Fabric and other database applications
• Create PowerBI dashboards given a set of requirements
• Work with data engineering teams to optimize data pipelines
• Clean and maintain precise data
• Document and catalog various queries and metrics to centralize and reuse work
• Analyze wide range of information related to subscriptions, viewership data, 3rd party user data, etc.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Work with both internal and external organizations
• Identify opportunities in current work to automate and streamline processes
• Communicate regularly with various stakeholders

The Stats:

• 5+ years of experience in experience in analytics or business intelligence
• Strong proficiency in PowerBI and various Microsoft applications
• Advanced SQL skills
• Solid communication skills and ability to present to stakeholders
• High attention to detail
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or comparable advanced knowledge attained through work experience and/or intellectual instruction.

The RSNs produce over 3,000 live local professional telecasts each year in addition to a wide variety of locally produced sports events and programs.

Main Street Sports Group also has a minority interest in the YES Network, the local destination for the New York Yankees and Brooklyn Nets.
