Head of Data Management & Automation

Your mission:

In this role, you will be responsible for defining and implementing data strategies, automation frameworks, and IT governance policies to ensure data integrity, security, and efficiency. You will play a key role in driving AI, RPA, and analytics initiatives while fostering collaboration between IT and business units.

What else will you be doing as Head of Data Management & Automation?

• Develop and implement data governance strategies to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability across enterprise systems (D365, Salesforce, SAP, etc.);

• Define and enforce data quality frameworks, policies, and standards to maintain high data integrity across business functions;

• Act as a key business partner, working with IT and business units to address data quality issues and drive continuous improvements;

• Establish and deploy IT automation frameworks, including AI, RPA (Robotic Process Automation), and workflow automation;

• Drive the automation of IT processes to enhance efficiency and reduce manual efforts;

• Oversee data integration, processing, and transformation automation to improve accessibility and analytics;

• Develop, maintain, and optimize data workflows, dashboards, and pipelines, progressively integrating machine learning and AI-driven automation;

• Ensure regulatory compliance with GDPR, ISO 27001, and other relevant standards;

• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure robust data security and risk management practices;

• Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on IT investments, automation roadmaps, and data-driven strategies.

• Your expertise is data management and IT management, strengthened by a relevant bachelor or master's degree and/or certifications;

• Strong knowledge of automation frameworks, AI-driven automation, and ideally experience with machine learning, RPA and predictive analytics;

• Familiarity with ERP, CRM, and business intelligence systems integration;

• You enjoy contributing to enhanced business performance whilst making sure having all stakeholders on board to drive optimisations together;

• Fluent in English, good German knowledge is preferred.
