We have an exciting opportunity at nbn, as a Senior Network Data Analyst reporting to Executive Manager Portfolio Governance, Improve and Transform.

A bit about your role

The Senior Data Analyst supports Network Engineering by analysing, documenting, and delivering data and analytics solutions to drive digital transformation and strategic objectives. They engage with various teams to understand data needs, develop metrics, ensure data quality, and provide analytical support. Responsibilities include delivering tactical or operational solutions, enhancing strategic data products, and maintaining foundational datasets.

Key accountabilities involve data analysis, product design, governance, and roadmap planning. The role requires collaboration with stakeholders to prioritize data needs, develop use cases, assist with data domain management and governance, and ensure compliance with data standards. The Senior Data Analyst plays a crucial role in uplifting data foundations and supporting informed decision-making.

A bit about you

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in data and analytics or IT solution delivery. They need experience working in cross-functional teams, using coding languages like R, Python, SQL, and Java, and managing data domains.

Key skills include relational database design, experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), problem-solving, and knowledge of data analytics trends. The candidate should be a team player with strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, hybrid environment.
