The ePay Data & Analytics team plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and enhancing customer satisfaction. As an ePay Data Analyst, you'll leverage your analytical prowess to uncover hidden opportunities and empower our Sales, Customer Development, Operations, and Channel Partner teams while ensuring data integrity and quality. The analyst must have a natural curiosity to learn new technologies and demonstrate an advanced competency to manipulate data sets to solve complex business issues.

In addition, the ePay Data Analyst will provide analysis and metrics to help continuously improve and optimize the ePay function. The successful candidate will practice self-awareness, have the initiative and thoroughness to manage multiple initiatives and has the professionalism to effectively collaborate with multiple stakeholders as well as the creativity and tenacity to drive activities to completion. This role directly contributes to the timely delivery of ePay revenue and helps craft compelling business stories leveraging data sets across the GHX organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partners with Sales, Customer Development Managers (CDM), Operations and Channel Partner teams to drive overall customer satisfaction and develop customer-centric plans to encourage prospective and existing customer participation in the ePay network
  • Becomes a data SME by leveraging CRM and other proprietary data warehouses
  • Reviews and scrutinizes data to ensure accuracy while maintaining integrity for sources of truth
  • Leverage data visualization tools like Tableau and Sigma to perform research and ad hoc reporting
  • Continuously looks for automation opportunities to remove reporting inefficiencies and provides recommendations to challenge the status quo

Key Duties

  • Builds out spend analysis segmentations leveraging accounts payable and accounts receivable files to profile and size opportunities for prospective and existing customers that will ultimately translate into revenue
  • Conduct supplier verifications to confirm correct network connections between customers
  • Investigate and resolve operational challenges related to implementation, supplier networks, and trading partner connections
  • Collaborates with internal business partners to gather business requirements to create reporting for better visibility into the ePay product
  • Perform valuations for signed contracts that defines customer scope and requirements

Required Education, Certifications, and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2 years' analyst experience in Financial Services, Payments, FinTech, Healthcare Finance or related discipline
  • REQUIRED: Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (i.e.VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Fuzzy Lookups, Pivot tables, IF Statements, Charts)
  • Build scalable reports and efficiently navigate Excel and Tableau
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Gainsight, Looker)
  • Basic working knowledge of process mapping (LucidCharts, Visio)
  • Basic working knowledge of CRM (Salesforce)
  • Excellent general PC skills (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint)
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%

Preferred Qualifications

  • Competency with automation tools (i.e. UIPath, Microsoft Power Automate)
  • Fundamental understanding of data wrangling tools (SQL, Python) and their appropriate applications
  • Excellent technical skills to process large quantities of data with an exceptional attention to detail
  • Critical thinker that can derive business stories from disparate data and the ability to look at analytical results and assess its reasonableness
  • Experience distilling insights from large data sets and effectively communicating those results to a broad audience

Key Differentiators

  • Payments industry experience
  • Financial or Business Analyst experience
  • Experience with SQL, Python and R
  • Data analyst certification

Estimated salary range: $57,000 - $71,200

The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the GHX’s salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on various factors, such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of GHX’s total compensation package for employees.
