This role is onsite 5 days a week in Fremont, CA
Responsibilities
- Identify trends in revenue, sales, and operating expenses by devising and implementing analytical strategies as well as conducting modeling and competitive statistical analysis.
- Support business leaders regarding launches/expansion and customer/pricing strategies to maximize profitability by creating predictive models and providing recommendations.
- Built statistical and machine learning models to recommend optimal ice quantities during the packing process and optimize SKU selection logic, resulting in a 3% increase in customer satisfaction and $1M revenue growth.
- Implemented data-driven strategies for order placement window extension, minimal order value, optimal delivery days, and holiday delivery schedules through causal inference, yielding a 5% contribution margin improvement.
- Delivered data support and insights to C-level leadership stakeholders & cross-functional teams, fulfilling total 300+ requirements through root-cause analysis, modeling, and visualization using SQL and Python. Topics included labor reduction, operational improvement, contributing to measurable improvements and optimized workflows.
- Directed end-to-end creation of diverse dashboards, overseeing business metrics alignment, ETL code development, Tableau view design, data validation and dashboard maintenance.
- Provided valuable insights into overall warehouse performance, packaging costs, customer refunds, warehouse timeliness and late cutoff launch reports. Designed (Figma) & developed user-friendly interfaces enabling daily utilization by warehouse managers and senior leadership
- Contributed to build data pipeline(ETL) to enhance data accessibility with clean data(Airflow); Supported analysts in accelerating data retrieval from various tables, leading to enhanced efficiency in achieving business objectives.
- Process Improvement & Design
- Enhanced the last-mile loading and delivery process to boost driver efficiency, decrease lead time, achieving an annual cost reduction exceeding half a million dollars nationwide.
- Optimized order batching algorithm from batching by SKU similarity to batching by route and standardized picking process by eliminating put wall, enhancing operational productivity and yielding annual labor savings
- Designed and implemented an innovative algorithm for dynamic affinity-based slotting.
Qualifications
Job entails working with and requires master’s degree in industrial engineering, Data Analytics or related analytical fields with Candidate must have 1-year professional experience in:
- Python
- SQL
- Tableau
- R
- Figma
- ETL
Work Time: M-F; 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. 40 hrs./week.

Compensation Range
- The US base salary for this full-time position is $97219
- This role may be eligible to discretionary bonus, incentives and benefits
- Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location
