Content Standards Specialist, Metadata Production & Video Sports

Role:
The Content Standard Specialist will report to the Director, Video Governance (Global), and will lead Governance for Gracenote’s Video Sports Content teams. The individual will lead the maintenance and implementation of common global business rules and data standards globally. They will also develop and implement the processes and working practices required to enable strong command & control of the Governance function globally.
Responsibilities:
Define, document, manage/organize and improve standards, guidelines, templates, playbooks, and other such editorial materials (aka “Standards”).Lead a disciplined, efficient and well-communicated process for managing ongoing modifications and improvements to Standards, leveraging logging and tracking tools such as Salesforce, and Confluence. Coordinate across Product, Customer Care, Delivery, Sourcing, & Content teams, as needed, to manage stakeholder & customer/source expectations.Include impacted stakeholders, where needed, to revise the Standard.Ensure timely decisions are reached and communicated to impacted stakeholders.Maintain content quality standards within the Content databases.Assist in resolving and responding to queries from data sources and clients regarding our policies.Assist in an escalation of Client issues that need further action/research for resolution.Provide standards guidance to the Content teams and other Gracenote business units.Communicate effectively with direct manager and other leaders.Review discrepancy cases holistically to find trends.Perform quality validation activities based on the established guidelines to ensure all data is accurately reviewed.Liaise with other departments; communicating issues and ensuring resolutions.
Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years related experience within the metadata field, with preference for multi-regional TV, Video or Film experience/exposure. Strong knowledge of Video Sports metadata and related subject matter expertise is strongly desiredGlobal position requires candidate to have flexible work hours.Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail. Proven ability to influence and drive results across diverse functional & regional teams. Excellent writing / technical documentation skills utilizing Google Suite, Wiki, Service Now and/or other business collaboration tools.A quality-focused individual who is detail-oriented, demonstrates sound judgment, critical thinking, problem solving and has an ability to spot trends and/or anomalies.Outstanding interpersonal skills, being able to work with different departments, offices and roles.Project management skillsABOUT THE TEAM:
