Power BI Developer

Qualis LLC is seeking a Power BI Developer supporting the 96th Test Wing. This position is located at Eglin AFB, FL.\

Responsibilities

• Dashboard & Report Development: Build interactive and visually appealing Power BI dashboards and reports to support business goals.
• Data Modeling: Design and implement efficient data models to ensure accuracy and optimize performance.

• Data Integration: Connect Power BI to various data sources, including databases, APIs, and cloud platforms, and perform data transformations using available tools. Follow CMMI (Level 3) processes for DevOps according to organizational standards and enterprise content management procedures.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with government teams to gather requirements, define KPIs, and translate data needs into technical solutions.
• Performance Optimization: Enhance the efficiency and scalability of Power BI solutions by improving data load times, rendering speeds, and overall usability.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of data models, report functionalities, and technical specifications for future reference.
• Training & Support: Educate end-users on Power BI functionalities and provide ongoing support to ensure effective utilization.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing and validation to ensure data accuracy and report functionality. Workplace Safety: Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, safety rules, and instructions.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must have an active and transferrable Department of Defense SECRET Security Clearance. Must be able to maintain clearance at required level.
• Must be willing to travel up to 15%.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, data science, statistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience and proficiency in developing Power Apps and Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Basic understanding of data analytics, including data cleaning, statistical analysis, and data interpretation.
• Must be able to work effectively alone, unsupervised, or within a group.
• Must have the ability to communicate clearly and concisely in writing and speaking.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills along with customer interaction and presentation capability.
• Must have the ability to quickly understand the customer's overall technical objectives and missions and provide effective solutions.
