Senior Software Developer Data Scientist

Build analytics and software tools to improve patient lives and end user experience. Develop the ability to think about the health of our patient populations and drive new insights into interventions that make people healthier and the healthcare system more financially sustainable. Use your background in software development to enhance people’s lives in a direct and measurable way.
Education – Bachelor's degree in computer science, data processing, information science, management information systems, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Experience – 5 -7 year of experience in technology with SQL, object-oriented programming language etc. and software development is required. At least 10 years of healthcare technology experience required. Experience with a variety of programming languages like C#, Javascript (including libraries such as React / Redux), and Python (including libraries like pandas) is preferred.
Licensure/Certification – Current Clarity, Caboodle, or similar Epic certifications OR must attend multiweek Epic training program and obtain Clarity, Caboodle, or similar certifications (along with any additional certifications associated with the chosen certification track(s)) within sixty days of program completion. Any training program requirements that are needed for new hire must be completed within 90 days of hire or probationary period will be extended until such time that programs are completed and certification obtained. All certifications must be maintained current at all times.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities – Must understand and conceptualize applications from both a technical/programming perspective and a business point of view. Organizational and interpersonal and communications skills and programming abilities in common languages and frameworks such are needed for the coding aspects of the position.
