We are now recruiting for a Master Data Team Leader to join us. Reporting to the Product Portfolio Manager this role will manage a small team of Master Data Executives, ensuring they are delivering the agreed excellence KPI’s & SLA’s, whilst acting as a single point of contact regarding the Material Master Data workstream within the Product Life Cycle.
Key Accountabilities:
- Ability to push the continuous improvement agenda and communicate this effectively across the team to deliver a strategy, imbedding excellence throughout the Portfolio Management department - ensuring department foundations are in place, being reviewed and aligned across the team.
- Responsible for the full material product lifecycle from creation to the trading period, through to SKU delist – always reflecting on the data for all finished goods.
- Delivering on aligned business priorities while supporting optimum customer service levels and adhering to all agreed global data standards.
- Accountable for all relevant supply chain data to be shared with stakeholders both internally & externally, completing cross functional data across the Production and Planning functions (and where needed, Logistics/ Procurement functional data to allow the movement of goods).
- Responsible for all data content, context and associated business rules in the local market, understanding what data is critical, and the operational impact from a holistic E2E perspective.
- Coordinate all SAP data to produce a Cost of Goods (COGS) on all relevant material types, facilitating reviews and approval of COGS by ISC and handover of approved COGS to the commercial business.
- Ensure any updates, requirements or commercial data are efficiently and timely communicated (including customer listings and sales pricing), always coordinating with Planning and Customer Services on the prompt release of sales blocks for all NPD.
- To inform and coordinate the onward creation of all finished goods in associated sales systems.
- Ensuring the quality and accuracy of all material and associated cross functional master data, providing resolution from any potential impacts or incidents.
- Accountable for required system testing and adherence to group master data agenda.
- You will represent and deliver Master Data requirements at all cross-functional workgroups and project steering groups.
Experience and Key Attributes:
- Previous line management experience is desired.
- Experience of collaboratively working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders.
- Resource Planning – managing multiple priorities, task and ensuring you have sufficient resources available.
- Must have previous experience of Master Data processes, and a full understanding of the importance of high-quality data.
- Previous experience of using SAP, BI/reporting systems, and developing these into internal status reports and data cleansing routines.
- Previous experience of driving and implementing change effectively.
- Experience in the drinks industry or other FMCG company desirable but not essential.
