The Supply Chain Systems Data Specialist is responsible for supporting the Supply Chain Planning team in their daily operational and administrative duties for adequate Supply Chain IT systems/apps database and master data management and governance in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environment. Apply best in class supply chain concepts and practices to develop the team’s overall capabilities, streamlined processes and participate in the Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system implementation. This role will provide great exposure to various elements of Supply Chain Systems including the ERP Oracle system implementation and management, ERP system master data entry and maintenance, SmartSheet database and reports maintenance, raw materials procurement, scheduling and planning, inventory management, third party warehousing, outsourced contract testing/manufacturing services and project & category management. Successful candidates will have an understanding of ERP software, tools, and technology used to manage daily business operations and automate business processes in supply chain, manufacturing, quality, accounting, etc.; and be given the opportunity to engage with multiple cross-functional teams and be part of exciting projects and workstreams.

Responsibilities
- ERP software/Apps Data Maintenance, tools and technology:
- Partner with IT, Supply Chain Planning and Database administrators in various aspects of ERP implementation.
- SmartSheet database, reports, dashboards and forms maintenance.
- Oracle ERP master data management, entry and update ensuring data quality, accuracy and compliance with company policies and support system implementation, documentation and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Support work instructions (Scribes) creation for master data management.
- Analyze and resolve master data quality issues.
- Support improvement of master data management and governance.
- Data mining and analysis through Oracle ERP reporting.
- Oracle ERP change management plan support including end user training.
- Veeva Quality Management System (QMS) support.
- Supply Chain Planning
- Develop and support Raw Materials (RMs) planning standards/processes including supplier forecasts collection and consolidation, RMs inventory planning and RMs inventory management, tracking, retains and quality investigations.
- Supports the Supply Chain, Lab Ops and Manufacturing teams with regular raw material readiness duties (Receipt, Allocation, Pick and Consumption, Cycle Counts, Write off due to expiration) to enable and streamline supply planning activities and adequate availability of raw materials for manufacturing activities.
- Supports Development & Operations Planning (D&OP) through data collection and visualization for presentation material.
- Assists in the creation of presentation material and participating in operational calls with vendors, keeping minutes and recording actions items.
- Support supply planning projects and initiatives with project deliverables including but not limited to: Database creation and maintenance, Process mapping/development, Data gathering, mining and analysis, Creating metrics and reports.
- Other tasks as required
Minimum Requirements
- Have (Currently enrolled in a degree program at an accredited college or university à BS/MS/PhD in Life Sciences, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or related field of study). Nice to have: Minor in ERP IT software, AI, machine learning or other IT emerging technologies applicable to supply chain management.
- Possess the Ability to work a ~6-month assignment, full-time – May 2025 – Nov 2025 (Flexible, negotiable).
- Must be 18 years of age by the start of the internship/co-op.
- Must have transportation to the site in Toronto, ON, CA.
- This position is intended to be hybrid (3 days on-site) and candidates will be informed should anything change.
- Excellent organizational skills, sufficient to multi-task in an extremely fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence across multiple functions.
