The goal of this thesis is to develop a real-time audio system to enhance safety and security in public transport. Join our team to create an audio event detection system with practical applications, using machine learning to identify audio events and emotions in dynamic public transport environments.

Deine Aufgaben:

• Collect audio data using microphone arrays and analyze it to uncover event and emotion patterns.
• Process raw audio into manageable segments and extract meaningful features for modeling.
• Design and train AI models for real-time detection of events and emotions, focusing on efficiently identifying unusual sounds and emotions
• Analyze existing models and identify areas for improvement.
• Integrate the model into a live system, ensuring effective performance under real-world conditions.
• Test and refine the models, evaluating accuracy and reliability with relevant metrics.

Notwendige Kenntnisse:

• Ongoing studies in the field of data science, computer science or related field.
• Knowledge of machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and model development.
• Proficiency in Python, with experience in data analytics or audio processing tools (e.g., Pandas, Librosa).
• Structured and conscientious working style.
• Ability to work independently with continuous guidance.

Gewünschte Kenntnisse:

• Expertise in Deep Learning
• Interest in audio processing and machine learning applications.
• Interest in real-time systems and signal processing.
