We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Al Architect to join our Omnichannel and Unified Commerce team. This pivotal role will lead the transformation of our technology strategy by leveraging cutting-edge Al technologies, with a focus on Al, Next Best Action, and Automation. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of these technologies and architectures, with a proven track record of designing and deploying Al-driven solutions that enhance business outcomes, optimize customer experiences, and drive operational efficiency.

This role is based in our Ridgefield, CT office. 

Compensation Data

This position offers a base salary typically between $140,000 and $269,000.  The position may be eligible for a role specific variable or performance based bonus and or other compensation elements.  For an overview of our benefits please click here. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Al Strategy & Architecture:
    -    Partner with our commercial teams to lead the design and implementation of Al solutions that align with the company's business goals and technology strategy.
    -    Develop end-to-end Al architectures for key use cases, including but not limited to generative Al, next best action, predictive analytics, and process automation.
    -    Design scalable, secure, and highly available Al systems that integrate seamlessly into the omnichannel ecosystem.
    -    Ensure Al systems are built with a focus on quality, innovation, and sustainability.
    Generative Al & Advanced Analytics:
    -    Architect and implement generative Al systems that enhance content creation, personalization, and customer engagement across multiple channels.
    -    Utilize advanced machine learning techniques to predict and recommend the "next best action" for customers, ensuring a seamless and proactive experience.
    -    Lead the exploration and application of novel Al algorithms and tools to continuously advance the organization's capabilities.
    Automation & Optimization:
    -    Develop automation strategies that reduce operational complexity, increase efficiency, and enhance decision­ making across systems.
    -    Leverage Al to automate manual tasks, optimize workflows, and continuously improve operational processes.
    -    Build intelligent automation solutions to drive self-service capabilities, improving customer satisfaction and reducing time to resolution.
    Leadership & Collaboration:
    -    Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Data Science, Marketing, Operations) to ensure Al solutions meet business objectives and are aligned with user needs.
    -    Guide and mentor junior engineers and data scientists to foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
    -    Be a thought leader in Al, keeping abreast of new trends and technologies, and ensuring the team's capabilities remain on the cutting edge.
    -    Engage with key stakeholders, including IT and business leaders, to communicate the value and impact of Al initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
    -    Provide thought leadership and insights on Al trends and best practices, helping to shape the organization's vision and strategy for Al adoption.
    Performance & Metrics:
    -    Define KPls to measure the performance of Al initiatives and ensure alignment with business outcomes.
    -    Monitor and report on the performance of Al models, continuously optimizing and refining models for greater accuracy, speed, and impact.
    Security & Compliance:
    -    Ensure Al systems adhere to security standards, privacy regulations, and industry best practices.
    -    Stay informed on compliance requirements for Al and data usage, ensuring all projects meet legal and ethical standards.
    Innovation & Research:
    -    Drive innovation by staying up to date and researching emerging Al technologies and methodologies, evaluating their potential impact on the business, and integrating them into the technology roadmap.
    -    Foster a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement, encouraging the team to explore new ideas and approaches to solve complex problems.

Requirements

  • Generative AI experience. Preferred within Healthcare, Finance or Retail industries.
  • Experience in delivering within a global organization.
  • Good working knowledge of standard M&S domain solutions such as Veeva, Salesforce.com, ideally with experience of M&S business processes of different areas.
  • Experience in model development and fine tuning models: Large  language models (LLMs) and other generative models using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch
  • Proven track record on implementing solid integration architecture
  • Proven track record in enterprise architecture in design and execution of AI architecture and technology solutions.
  • Good and strong knowledge of Platform/ Cloud concepts.
  • Exhibits a sense of urgency and independent initiative toward accomplishing objectives.
  • Team player - position is cross-functional and requires significant teamwork.
  • Must be a strong strategic thinker and motivator and understands what delivers true value to the business.
  • Strong customer focus in creating innovative approaches

AD IT Architect

  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in IT from an accredited institution required; Advanced degree in technical field preferred.
  • Seven-plus (7+) years of progressive IT experience required.

Sr AD IT Architect

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field.
  • In lieue of a degree, twelve (12) years of relevant industry experience
  • Extensive experience (8+ years) in the IT domain with specific experience with ERP, CRM, IT infrastructure design and associated operational processes (strongly preferred).


Eligibility Requirements:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required) 
Must be 18 years of age or older
