The Integrity Operations Team at WhatsApp is dedicated to ensure that those users have a safe, secure and high-quality experience. We are responsible for educating and protecting our users from unwanted/unsolicited messages, media, and phishing attempts. We identify patterns and behaviors using internal tools to mitigate attacks and other violations.

We’re looking for a Business Integrity Project Manager to help our Business Integrity team operate more efficiently and proactively develop solutions to protect our end users. In this role you will address large-scale business integrity issues and partner with Product, Engineering, Data Science and Legal teams to create scalable solutions.Business Integrity Project Manager, WhatsApp Responsibilities
  • Apply quantitative skills and incorporate qualitative insights to inform and influence strategy for Integrity Operations
  • Conduct thorough investigations and Root Cause Analysis to identify harm trends, build scalable solutions and have direct impact on user harm
  • Partner with cross-functional teams such as Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Legal to lead or contribute to large scale projects as well as solve ongoing operational problems at scale
  • Inform, influence, and execute new strategies and tactics using sound analysis and impact metrics to support your positions
  • Effectively plan and manage complex projects from the initiation phase through final execution to further our mission
  • Identify opportunities to build automation solutions to make Operations processes more efficient
  • Participate in on-call emergency escalation rotation as well as after-hours and weekend duty when necessary
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4+ years of work experience in an analytics role involving strategy, problem solving, and/or technical systems
  • Experience with assessing, analyzing and resolving complicated issues, and distill that complexity into simple and concise communication
  • Experience building connections with cross-functional partners and team members through effective communication and collaboration, while delivering results in a goal-oriented environment
  • Proficiency with data querying languages (e.g. SQL), scripting languages (e.g. Python), and/or statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with WhatsApp
  • Experience working within Trust and Safety, Fraud or Payments Risk
  • Advanced degree with a quantitative focus (Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, Information Systems, Applied Economics or similar technical field) or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience presenting complex data insights to leadership

$110,000/year to $158,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
