Data Engineer SAP Business Objects

Job Description:

As a data engineer you will have experience in an IT Business Intelligence role, be an excellent communicator, possess strong analytical skills with an ability to understand business requirements and identify the most appropriate BI solution.

Skills and experience is essential in the following: 

• To design, develop and deploy ETL data datasets, transformations and data loading to Oracle server using  SAP Business objects suite 4.3.
• SAP BO / SAP BI (Web Intelligence, IDT, Design Studio, SAP Lumira)
• SAP Data Services
• Oracle SQL server Management
• Understand and convert business requirements into technical specifications.

Additional optional skills :

• SAP BW
• Talend Studio 8 ETL development
• SQL server management and scripting
• Power BI reporting

•You will possess the following personal characteristics: -Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal-Ability to be innovative and conceptualise-Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines-Good team worker with ability to influence and motivate•Must be eligible to achieve MoD SC clearance
