BI Developer

As a leading online payment service provider, we deploy more than 400 payment methods and PCI-certified platforms to process approximately 6 million payments every single day. 
As a BI Developer at PayU, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing scalable and insightful business intelligence solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders to develop standardized data models, create interactive dashboards, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities and Key Activities:

• Design and develop standardized data models to meet diverse business needs.
• Create insightful and interactive data visualizations using Tableau to drive business decisions.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of our data mesh architecture.
• Optimize and maintain existing data processes and pipelines for efficiency and performance.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
• Support project management activities related to data initiatives, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality insights.

Required Skills:

• SQL: Advanced-level proficiency in writing complex queries, stored procedures, and functions.
• dbt: Solid understanding of dbt for data transformation and modeling.
• GitHub: Familiarity with version control using Git and GitHub.
• Tableau: Strong skills in creating dashboards, reports, and visualizations.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Atlan Data Catalog.
• Python programming skills for data processing and automation.

Other Competencies:

• Proven ability to work effectively with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Experience in project management methodologies and practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic and evolving environment.
• 3 years of experience in data modelling, data analysis or data engineering
