Mission and responsibilities:

As a Data Scientist, you will play a role in interpreting and analyzing complex data from various business areas. Your primary focus will be on leveraging advanced analytics techniques to uncover insights, identify trends, and drive data-driven decision-making processes.

The main tasks of this position will be the following:

• Collect and interpret data from various sources within the AWS Datalake to generate actionable insights.
• Analyze results from diverse commercial actions to identify opportunities for business optimization, leveraging advanced analytics techniques.
• Develop end-to-end Machine Learning models to optimize business processes.
• Communicate findings effectively through reports and data visualization tools.
• Identify patterns and trends in datasets, automate routine tasks, and focus efforts on analyzing anomalous or unexpected patterns.
• Design and implement new data collection and analysis processes tailored to business verticals such as Wealth and new geographic markets.
• Locate and propose opportunities for process enhancements to improve efficiency and outcomes.
• Develop and implement scripts or dashboards to streamline recurring tasks and support scalability.
• Generate comprehensive documentation of all processes to ensure knowledge transfer, easy understanding, and secure backup.

To be successful in the role you must have:

• +3 years of experience working on a team with experience understanding risk/ portfolio construction and analytics; predictive modelling, and Machine Learning applications.
• University or Master’s Degree in Computer Science / Telecom. / Maths / Physics / Industrial engineer.
• Strong programming skills for data analytics and Machine Learning/AI.
• Strong Python and PySpark skills – knowledge of data management.
• Experience with SQL for managing and accessing data.
• Familiarity with software development tools such as GitHub.
• Excellent communication/ presentation skills, confidence, and ability to influence, coach, educate fundamental PMs. Outstanding written and oral communication skills
• Interest in learning from other Data Science experts, using feedback to improve analysis and understanding of strategies.
• Attention to detail and passion/ grit for getting things done, digging into problems, and helping develop solutions.
• Sense of ownership and entrepreneurialism to grow business.
• Strong knowledge and/or experience on project management, PMI Certification will be a plus.
• Knowledge of the Agile framework.
