University Student - Technical Operations (Data Science/Computer Science)

The details:

• Work part time - 3 to 5 days a week (Monday to Friday), depending on what suits your study needs
• Appointment will be for the duration of your undergraduate studies.
• $34.68 per hour + 12% super (level 1)
• Location: Narangba

We are seeking a friendly, reliable and motivated University Student to work in our Technical Operations, Assets and Systems team!

The team are developing and improving IT systems used by our outdoor Operations crews to manage their workflow and activities. The University Students in the team get to know the day to day operational work the crews are performing, and the various IT systems they interact with, to find solutions that automate, streamline and improve their tasks.

You'll be working alongside professionals from our Operations teams, and our Digital Innovation & Technology team and will gain great knowledge in the area of your studies as you assist the team in creating dashboards, reporting tools for leaders, analysing data to be turned in to Work Orders, and improving data quality.

Your enthusiasm and drive to solve problems that improve the end user's experience, will be paired with good communication skills to provide a great experience for all of our stakeholders.

You will be currently enrolled in relevant university studies ideally with a Data Science or Computer Science focus, but if you have a second relevant major or minor would be beneficial too.
