ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to lead complex data-driven projects, manage high-performing teams, and drive business value through analytics and engineering solutions. This role requires a mix of technical expertise, client management skills, and leadership abilities to deliver impactful insights and solutions to enterprise clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, translate business challenges into data solutions, and contribute to the growth of our data consulting practice.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
- Serve as a strategic leader, shaping and driving data initiatives that align with business objectives.
- Guide and mentor a team of data analysts, ensuring career growth, technical upskilling, and high-performance execution.
- Establish and maintain a strong data-driven culture, fostering collaboration between analytics, engineering, and business teams.
- Lead and oversee multiple analytics engagements, ensuring high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Develop and maintain trusted relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact for data and analytics engagements.
- Partner with business stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs), success metrics, and analytical roadmaps.
- Navigate complex organizational structures, politics, and personalities to drive consensus and project success.
- Identify new business opportunities by assessing client data needs and proposing scalable solutions.
Project Execution & Delivery
- Manage end-to-end analytics projects from discovery, requirements gathering, and solution design to implementation and delivery.
- Ensure project timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met while balancing strategic vision and tactical execution.
- Define and implement best practices for data governance, data quality, and data management across client environments.
- Lead workshops, presentations, and training sessions for clients to communicate insights and recommendations effectively.
Technical Expertise & Innovation
- Design and implement robust data architectures, including ETL pipelines, data lakes, and cloud-based analytics solutions.
- Develop advanced analytics solutions leveraging machine learning, statistical modeling, and data visualization.
- Optimize data workflows, ensuring scalability, performance, and automation in analytics infrastructure.
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies and best practices in data analytics, engineering, and business intelligence.
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, mentorship, and innovation initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
Must-Have Skills
- 7+ years of applied analytics experience in sales, finance, marketing, product, or engineering.
- 7+ years of experience assessing client data ecosystems, including data tools, applications, and architectures.
- 5+ years of consulting experience, delivering data solutions for enterprise clients.
- Strong expertise in SQL and familiarity with NoSQL databases.
- Proficiency in at least one analytics programming language (Python, R, MATLAB, or SPSS).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for deploying analytics solutions.
- Proven track record of managing data ecosystems, including ETL, data governance, reporting, and insights.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data concepts into business-friendly narratives.
- Ability to balance hands-on technical execution with leadership and delegation to maximize team efficiency.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
- Background in statistical analysis, machine learning, or AI-driven analytics.
- Experience managing junior analysts and fostering team growth.
- Familiarity with data privacy, security, and compliance best practices.

The anticipated salary ranges for this position and subsequent locations are listed below. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, expertise, physical location, and organizational impact. This is based on a 40-hour workweek and leveling. Keep in mind, we're flexible.
