Job Description
- Be a part of our team and create as well as operate automated pipelines for data extraction, transformation and integration.
- You will work with different types of data, data sources, infrastructure as well as existing building blocks.
- In addition, you make data from source systems available for data analysis or business process automation and implement data architecture conforming to defined (semantic) data models as well as data flow/pipelines.
- Furthemore, you ensure defined/required data quality and make data quality transparent.
- You will also collaborate with business stakeholders, domain experts, and data experts.
- Last but not least, you work with IT teams, management and/or data architects as well as scientists to define goals of data preparation.
Qualifications
- Education: degree (Master) in Software Engineering, Computer Science or Business Informatics
- Experience and Knowledge:
- advanced skills in software engineering and algorithms for data integration and pre-processing
- understanding of different source and target (semantic) data models (e.g., schema, ontologies, aspect models for digital twins)
- knowledge of data management functions according to data management frameworks and data management processes
- IT affinity and understanding of logistics processes, reporting and analytics
- domain knowledge, data modeling, and networking as well as basic knowledge of mathematics and statistics
- experience with visualization and analysis tools
- knowledge in data access and transformation
- understanding of data, business and processes
- application of UX methods and ability to build state-of-the-art user interfaces
- interpretation of technical results
- consulting skills
- Personality and Working Practice: you find it easy to work with different interest groups and communicate clearly and purposefully with them
- Enthusiasm: IT affinity and understanding of logistics processes, reporting as well as analytics
- Languages: very good in English, language skills in German are advantageous
