Job Description:
As a Sr AI Scientist, you will apply your knowledge of NLP and ML to build product features that use state of the art methods in entity extraction, clustering and classification. You will work with a talented team of engineers and product managers to perform rapid experiments to validate hypothesis for new and unique features.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Sr Search Engineer to join our AI Search team and help advance capabilities as we migrate to a search-first platform. This role involves working closely with software engineers, data scientists, and product managers to improve search functionalities and user experience. The Search Engineer will implement scalable solutions for search-related challenges and ensure the search system's performance and accuracy.
Main Responsibilities- Implement and optimize search features, including natural language processing (NLP), semantic search, and machine learning-based relevance ranking.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate search functionalities into various applications.
- Analyze and optimize search performance metrics, including relevance, speed, and accuracy.
- Implement machine learning models to enhance search capabilities.
- Conduct regular testing and debugging of search systems to ensure reliability.
- Monitor and analyze user feedback to identify areas for improvement in search functionalities.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in search technologies and incorporate them into existing systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in search engine development and information retrieval.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, or Java.
- Strong understanding of search algorithms and data structures.
- Experience with search platforms like Elasticsearch, Solr, or similar technologies.
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques and their application in search systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and semantic search.
- Experience in cloud computing environments such as AWS, GCP or Azure.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, each candidate’s compensation offer may vary and will be determined based on but not limited to, your geographic region, skills, qualifications, and experience along with the requirements of the position. Datasite reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
