Role Overview:

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will leverage Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques and AI to extract valuable insights from our extensive data assets. You will play a crucial part in designing and maintaining key components of our data pipelines, ensuring the deployment and upkeep of our advanced models.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Data function to enhance data pipelines using NLP techniques.
• Design, develop, and validate models to recognize entities and map them to JATO’s internal data across various contexts.
• Extend current methodologies to process both image and text data.
• Assist in deploying and monitoring developed solutions.
• Share best practices, expertise, and enthusiasm within the Data Science team.
• Work cross-functionally to create impactful data visualizations and analyses.
• Stay current with advancements in AI, particularly in LLM, SLM, prompt engineering, RAG, and fine-tuning techniques.

Key Requirements:

• Advanced degree in data science, applied statistics, machine learning, mathematics, or a related field.
• 3-7 years of professional experience in Data Science or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in NLP techniques and models (e.g., NLTK, SpaCy).
• Strong skills in data science processes including data cleansing, validation, modeling, and visualization.
• Experience with AI prompt engineering or related fields (e.g., chatbot development, LLM fine-tuning).
• Ability to create effective prompts for LLM and other AI systems.
• Experience with AI agents (e.g., crew AI, Langchain, Autogen) and designing AI agents with defined outcomes.
• Proficiency in Python/R and machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud technologies, particularly Azure.
• Familiarity with the Databricks environment.
• Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik).
• Familiarity with business process automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, Zapier).
