Job Description

About the Role:
We are seeking a Data Analyst to assess and ensure the quality of data from information providers using a statistical approach. The ideal candidate will apply statistical techniques, conduct data validation, and provide insights to improve data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess the quality, reliability, and accuracy of data from multiple information providers using statistical analysis.
  • Develop and apply data quality metrics to detect inconsistencies, missing values, and anomalies.
  • Use statistical models and methodologies (e.g., hypothesis testing, regression analysis) to evaluate data patterns.
  • Work closely with data providers to improve data collection processes and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Create automated data validation and monitoring processes to track changes over time.
  • Generate reports and dashboards to communicate data quality findings and trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of statistical methods and data analysis techniques.
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools such as SQL, Python, R, or SAS.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Ability to identify and resolve data quality issues efficiently.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to translate statistical findings into actionable insights.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with large datasets and data pipelines.
  • Knowledge of data governance and best practices for data quality management.
  • Familiarity with industry standards for data quality assessment.
