What you can expect from this position:

Reporting to the Associate Director of Strategic Business Insights, the Analyst Data Strategy is responsible for driving data-driven strategies that enhance operational efficiency and innovation across the airport. This role involves managing complex datasets, conducting in-depth market and competitive analysis, and leveraging advanced analytics to provide actionable insights. By integrating these insights into strategic planning, the Analyst ensures proactive decision-making that aligns with long-term organizational goals. The position is key in fostering a data-centric culture, improving operational performance, and elevating the passenger experience through effective collaboration with key stakeholders.

 As an Analyst, Data Strategy, you will:

  • Oversee the collection, storage, and governance of both internal and external data sources, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and integrity across all datasets.
  • Design and implement processes to integrate multiple data sets, facilitating cross-functional collaboration and efficient data usage.
  • Work closely with IT and data stewards to maintain and refine a data governance framework that aligns with the organization’s objectives and operational needs.
  • Conduct detailed data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform key business decisions.
  • Prepare and present clear, actionable data-driven reports to senior leadership, transforming complex data into insights that drive strategy.
  • Utilize advanced analytical tools to support strategic initiatives, forecasting efforts, and the development of analytical models.
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and efficient database systems to ensure seamless data management.
  • Collaborate with IT to ensure databases are optimized for performance, scalability, and compliance with data privacy regulations.
  • Provide data-driven insights to assist in developing and monitoring strategic goals, key performance indicators, and metrics across the organization.
  • Evaluate the impact of strategic initiatives and corporate goals, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and continuous improvement.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather data requirements and ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Communicate complex data insights clearly and effectively to diverse audiences, promoting a data-driven culture within the organization.
  • Offer training and support to teams across the organization, enhancing their ability to use and interpret data effectively.

The salary for this non-unionized position is competitive based on the successful candidate’s qualifications.

This is the role for you, if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Certifications in data analytics (e.g., Certified Analytics Professional, Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate) is preferred
  • 3+ years of experience with a strong background in data strategy and analytics
  • Ability to obtain and retain Transportation Security Clearance

 Knowledge and skills you bring, that set-you up for success:

  • Experience with advanced forecasting models, machine learning techniques, and cloud-based data storage solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Proficiency in Python, data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and database management.
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly and effectively to diverse audiences, including senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with teams like IT, business analysts, and data stewards
  • Proficient in data visualization and presentation, able to translate analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for decision-makers.
