Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and analytical individual to join our People Analytics team as a Co-op/Intern. This role will involve supporting data collection, analysis, and reporting on key workforce metrics to drive decision-making processes across Acushnet. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in human resources, data analysis, and business intelligence, with the ability to think critically about workforce data and its implications for talent management and organizational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in data collection and analysis related to employee performance, engagement, retention, and workforce trends.
• Support the creation and maintenance of dashboards and reports for HR leadership, using tools like Excel, Tableau, KNIME, and Visier.
• Conduct statistical analysis to identify patterns and trends in employee data and present findings to key stakeholders across HR and the business. 
• Collaborate with HR and business leaders to understand workforce needs and recommend data-driven solutions.
• Assist in employee surveys and other data-gathering initiatives to assess organizational health.
• Help in automating HR reporting processes and improving data quality.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large datasets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools is a plus.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques and tools (e.g., SPSS, R, or Python) is desirable.
• Willingness to learn new tools and methods
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and comfortable speaking with high level executives.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for problem-solving.
