The ESG Data Ops team assist in process improvement initiatives focused on testing and refining our vendor validation framework for vote results process. The team also explore the efficiency and effectiveness of streamlined data validation methods, ensuring that governance workflows remain accurate and scalable.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Data Validation Research: Analyze vote results data to identify inconsistencies, bottlenecks or inefficiencies and assess the effectiveness of MVV validation rules. Assist in testing the vendor validation framework on historical and test datasets
- Workflow Testing: Assist in evaluating the validation framework to determine its impact on data quality and operational efficiency
- Edge Case Identification: Conduct targeted data analyses and reviews to identify gaps or potential improvements in the validation approach
- Process Optimization: Provide insights and feedback on validation rules, refining the methodology to reduce manual interventions and improve accuracy
Your skills and experience that will help you excel
- Course: Undergraduate students taking up Finance/Economics or Business Management, Management Information Systems, Data Science courses
- Skills: Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail. Familiarity with Excel, Google Sheets, or data visualization tools is an advantage
- Ability to learn and apply new concepts quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate with a global team
- Basic understanding of corporate governance or financial markets is a plus but not required
