Lead Data Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead mid to large size and complex consulting projects simultaneously.
• Participate in the development and implement long-term client strategies.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients within their workstream.
• Effectively communicate with clients, team members, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle and keep all parties informed about project progress, challenges, and changes.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives, challenges, and technology requirements.
• Provide expert advice on technology solutions and tools that can enhance the client's operations.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors and suppliers to source necessary hardware, software, or services.
• Provide recommendations for updates, upgrades, or modifications as needed. 

 MINIMUM AND/OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Power BI Data Analyst Associate Certified (PL-300) 
• Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate (DP-600) 
• 5+ years of experience SQL 
• 5+ years of experience transforming data to support semantic models using SQL and Power BI 
• 5+ years of experience designing and developing reporting solutions using Power BI 
• Candidate should have experience in the following industries and related business process data stories: Distribution, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Retail/ Consumer Goods 
• Experience in developing semantic models following star schema best practices for Power BI 
• Experience with Data Lakehouse architecture and related technologies 
• Experience in gathering reporting requirements directly from business stakeholders. 
• Experience designing engaging visualizations and user interfaces for reports to support business process requirements 
• Experience developing solutions with Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, Microsoft Fabric and other data sources 
• Experience with Git version control and Azure Dev Ops 
• Familiarity with security configuration and security policies within Power BI and Microsoft Fabric 
• Effective multitasker who can work on a variety of competing tasks at the same time  

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) 
• Experience with Dynamics 365
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, or related field. 
• Experience working with a multicultural and/or multilingual team across several time zones.
