Job Description
This internship focuses on advancing AI-based Process Optimization application in the manufacturing domain. The candidate will have the chance to work on an actual industrial case study provided by the Bosch plant and develop a novel solution to solve the current pain point. The goals of this AI-based Process Optimization are to reduce production defect rates and improve the production efficiency.
As an Intern, AI Research you will support the following key tasks in collaboration with experience team members.
- Investigate state-of-the-art methods in the field Statistical Analysis, Machine Learning, Deep Learning and/or other related AI methods for process optimization.
- Conduct regular technical discussions to deep dive into problem statement.
- Support data collection and preprocessing.
- Propose concept using the suitable methodologies to solve the pain points.
- Develop and validate proof-of-concept.
- Project updates, presentation, support demonstrations for project stakeholders
Qualifications
- Able to work full time for a period of 6 months (01.06.2025 to 31.12.2025)
- Undergraduate/graduate studies in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence or Engineering.
- Proficiency in AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch/TensorFlow and related libraries.
- Proficiency in Python and/or C++ and coding best practices.
- Experience with software architecture and CI/CD pipeline (preferred).
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and great problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.

Additional Information
- Candidate should fulfil the visa requirements for employment in Singapore.
- Applicant must be enrolled throughout internship period, or plan to pursue further studies.
