Master Data Manager

The Team Lead within the Master Data tower plays a key role in the new dormakaba business services  for Europe. The role holder provides team leadership as well as coordinates and provides reliable and timely delivery of the respective Master Data Management activities. The Team Lead will perform operational tasks in addition to team coordination and management responsibility. The Team Lead will work closely with the Master Data Tower Head towards harmonization and automation of data flows. The role is based in Sofia, Bulgaria.

A job that matters: Your Tasks 

• Responsible for human resource planning, selection, development, engagement and periodic performance review of team members​
• Ensure team is set up, on-boarded, trained and up to date with most updated functional knowledge - policies, procedures & process specific documents​
• Oversee and support team members in daily activities, organize the work within the team, set objectives and quality standards for the team members​
• Drive the team’s delivery ensuring efficiency timeliness and accuracy data and business information​
• Perform complex activities within the Master Data tower in the dormakaba business services ​
• Act as a point of escalation for the team members​
• Ensure process documentation is prepared and updated regularly for all activities performed by the team. ​
• Continually reviews, challenges and updates process and practices to provide the most efficient and cost-effective best practice​
• Ensure service delivery of the team is within the agreed SLAs and KPIs​
• Closely collaborate with the Tower Head in driving harmonization and automation of data flows​
• Promote dormakaba culture and ways of working within the team

An experience that matters: Your Skills

• BSc or MSc in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field​
• 3-5 years of experience in Master Data Management and Analytics, covering Customer, Vendors and Materials, experience in leading a team​
• Experience of working in Shared Services and country transitions is a plus​​
• Proven team leadership skills, ability to manage a team and provide on the job coaching and training​
• Ability to train and mentor team members, facilitating their professional growth and development​
• Strong Master Data Management acumen, in-depth understanding of end-to-end data flows ​
• Ability to interact with process stakeholders at various levels in the organization​
• Good communication, problem solving and analytical skills, proven ability to prioritize tasks​
• Proven ability to achieve objectives, structured way of working​
• Knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework, Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies will be considered as a plus​
• Proficient knowledge of end-to-end systems and data flows from business to Finance; SAP & BI/Analytics tool experience; strong MS Office skills​
• Fluent in English, local languages as applicable
