BI Analyst, Junior

Our first step to achieving our mission is to transform the recruiting experience into an easy, human and fair process, for both candidates and companies with high-volume job openings. Emi, our main product, is an A.I. recruitment assistant that enables companies to engage in a conversation with each applicant to detect interested and qualified individuals while saving Recruiters a huge amount of time by automating tasks such as screening, validating skills, scheduling interviews, and collecting documents. 
We were part of Y-Combinator's Winter 2019 batch and in 2022 we have raised an $11M funding round co-led by Merus Capital and Khosla Ventures.
About the role
We are seeking a Junior BI Analyst who is eager to learn and grow in the world of data. You'll be part of a collaborative data team, helping to build reports, clean and organize data, and support decision-making across the company. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their analytics career to gain hands-on experience in a high-impact role.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with analysts and business stakeholders to answer key business questions.
• Support the team in building dashboards and reports to monitor performance and KPIs.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and analyze data from various sources.
• Help maintain and document existing data models and pipelines.
• Contribute to analyses to support different business areas.
• Learn best practices in data governance, modeling, and visualization.
• Support the team in managing technical debt.

What we are looking for

• At least 1 year of experience in a data-related role or equivalent academic background.
• Foundational knowledge of SQL (you’ll use it daily).
• Interest or some experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Looker, Power BI, Tableau, Metabase).
• Strong desire to learn and grow within the data space.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks.
• Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate with non-technical teams.
• Fluent in English
