AWS Cloud & Data Architect

Overview

As Senior Cloud Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and governing the end-to-end cloud-based data platform. Responsible for architectural decisions that ensure scalability, performance, and compliance across data and infrastructure layers.

Responsibilities

• Architect cloud-native solutions using AWS services (e.g., Redshift, Glue, Lake Formation, S3, Athena, Lambda).
• Define security, compliance, and data governance standards.
• Establish data platform blueprints (ingestion, processing, storage, analytics).
• Align cloud strategy with business goals and data product roadmap.
• Design disaster recovery and business continuity models.
• Optimize cloud resource utilization and costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional (preferred).

Essential skills

• Expertise in AWS architecture and best practices.
• Strong knowledge of data lakehouse design, IAM, KMS, and VPC.
• Experience integrating with enterprise data catalogs, security frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
