Software Engineer III - Machine Learning ADAS

We are looking for a Software Engineer with a focus on the Machine Learning Lifecycle including data, model and code management, including deployment and monitoring in highly scaled environments. You have a strong background in software engineering and a passion for developing robust, scalable solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in computer vision, machine learning, cloud computing, and software engineering best practices. 

What You'll Do

• Develop and implement scalable data pipelines and infrastructure for computer vision and machine learning applications. 
• Accelerate model development lifecycle by building distributed training pipeline. 
• Optimize and improve the performance of existing CV and/or ML solutions, making them performant and production ready. 
• Ensure code quality, robustness, and thorough testing of our computer vision solutions. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate algorithms into production systems. 
• Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes for machine learning models. 
• Deploy solutions using Docker containers on cloud platforms such as Azure. 

What You'll Need

• Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. 
• At least 4-5 years of professional experience in software engineering. 
• Strong software engineering skills, particularly in Python. 
• 1-2 years of experience in image processing and/or machine learning, preferably in geospatial applications. 
• Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms such as Azure and DataBricks. 
• Proficient in deploying applications using containerization. 
• Experience with CI/CD processes and tools. 
• Experience in maintaining and scaling large-scale data processing systems. 
• Ability to think end-to-end and deliver high-quality solutions. 
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team. 

What's Nice to Have

• Strong understanding and experience with model development lifecycle tools e.g.MLFlow or similar 
• Proven track record of optimizing and accelerating model training for maximum efficiency.

We are the ADAS & ADS Product Unit, leading the production of TomTom’s HD maps and ADAS technology.  In a diverse team of applied scientists, engineers, data scientists, and more, equipped with a broad array of expertise, you’ll collaborate on groundbreaking location-based technologies and applications.  More specifically, you’ll be at the forefront of the creation of advanced HD maps. You’ll also help update these in real-time, ensuring our maps are pushing the world forward instantly. These maps will then go on to empower the largest car manufacturers, transportation giants, and major tech companies around the world.
