Allied Consultants, Inc. is an Austin-based firm which has for 33 years been a premier provider of technical and business professionals to clients in Texas. We are currently seeking an experienced Data Engineer to be a key resource on a technical services team.

Responsibilities

The Specialist position is rarely selected and should only be considered after all other levels have been exhausted. The Specialist position is considered an expert position that has a comprehensive and authoritative knowledge of or unique skillset in a particular area. A data scientist (big data engineer) is someone who makes value out of data. Such a person proactively fetches information from various sources and analyzes it for better understanding about how the business performs and builds AI tools that automate certain processes within the company.

Data engineer needed for Fraud Analytics roadmap implementation, including standing up new data engineering practices and supporting data analysts and data scientists. 

**Location of job: Onsite. Candidate must be local to Austin, TX**

Skill in designing, building, and managing efficient, scalable, and reliable data pipelines to support data integration efforts. Skill in Python and SQL. Experience with Databricks on Azure preferred.
